How do I know my current agency is doing a good job?
Ask yourself three simple questions. If the answer to any of them is no, then you should probably be looking for a new agency:
Do they consistently achieve or exceed the agreed target KPIs?
Do they provide full transparency and full access to all network accounts?
Does the reporting they provide clearly explain changes in performance and specific actions taken to affect that change?
What commercial models do you have?
We have a range of commercial models that give us the flexibility to create the right solution for any client.
Percentage of media spend – This is our preferred model and the most flexible option to ensure the right amount of resource is allocated against media spend.
Fixed retainer – If you want to fix your costs regardless of media spend we can assess the amount of work required and work to a fixed retainer. Technology costs are charged in addition to the retainer as a percentage based on the media spend.
How will Digital AdDoctor work with my internal paid search team?
We have a number of clients where we split the responsibility of managing paid search activity between our agency and their in-house teams. We can provide first class training and be as hands on or off depending on your specific requirements.
What do I get for my money?
You get instant access to all the knowledge, best practices, work flow and processes we’ve built up over the last 10+ years. You get paid search experts using the best possible technology working to achieve your campaign and commercial goals.
What results can you guarantee?
Nobody can guarantee results in paid search marketing, and you should be wary of any company that says they can. We can of course project the likelihood of success based on your current activity, and will happily audit your account against our current best practices.
Do you manage paid search outside of Google AdWords?
Yes, we encourage our clients, where relevant, to advertise outside of Google if we believe we can get better results. Other platforms and partners include Facebook, YouTube, Bing Ads, Yahoo, Amazon, LinkedIn, Twitter, Baidu and Yandex.
Do you discard my existing campaigns when you build my new campaigns?
All the data that you have collected in your campaign is carefully weighed in when we create your new campaign.
The best ideas on how to build your new campaign are often found within your old campaign. It’s not always the case, but in 95% of the campaigns we build at Digital AdDoctor, we gain insight into the client’s previous campaign.
What reporting do you offer?
Once a month you will receive a detailed campaign report. It contains:
A breakup of campaign performance at overall campaign, ad group, ad copy and keyword level
Optimisation highlights & takeaways
What happens next.
Furthermore, we also always urge you to join a GoToMeeting session where we discuss the monthly report and the plan moving ahead for the following month(s).
Weekly optimisation updates are sent to you and of course you can set up a phone meeting any time you see fit.
Is my advertising budget paid directly to Digital AdDoctor?
No. Your ad spend and DigitalAdDoctor management fees are paid separately.
Your ad spend is paid to Twitter Ads, Facebook Ads or Google AdWords. Your DigitalAdDoctor management fee is paid directly to us through our secure merchant facility or Paypal.
How much do I need to spend on advertising?
That will depend on your business goals and the competition you are up against. More competitive markets demand higher click costs but it’s important to note that as we use pay-per-click advertising methods you’ll only be charged you when someone visits your website.
Monthly budget options will be presented to you and agreed in the strategy phase and once determined will not be passed.
